The SMT-028 is a semiconductor type gas sensor used to detect toluene in gas. The conductivity of the gas-sensitive material of the sensor will change accordingly with the concentration of the target gas. Using a simple test circuit, this change in conductivity is converted into an electronic signal output and corresponds to the corresponding target gas concentration, thereby realizing gas detection. The sensor is packaged in a four-pin metal shell and is a low-cost sensor suitable for a variety of applications.
