The SMT1008 is semiconductor type gas sensor developed for test methane. The sensing material is specially developed by IDM independently for resist methane gas interference. When the sensing material is exposed to sensor, the conductivity of the sensor will change. A simple circuit can be used to convert the change in conductivity into an output voltage signal corresponding to the gas concentration.
